Bar:

A more informal setting for dining can be found in our lounge bar, with Robert presenting a more relaxed and lighter menu choice. Chris Nicolson, our Beverage Manager, and team are always on hand to make sure that you are well looked after, as you view the panorama of the bay of Portree towards the Cuillin mountains.  Our climate is temperamental and sit long enough you will see the mountains appear and disappear with the changing weather ~ a magical sight.

Chris keeps a well stocked bar, full of firm favourites, but the growing collection of single malts is one that he presents with pride, especially the “full barrage” of Talisker (including the extremely rare ‘Secret Still edition, one of the few bottles left in existence).

The Lounge is open through out the day and is an ideal retreat for a lighter meal; a coffee or tea, as supplied by the Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company; or a bracing Malt or glass of wine.

Whatever the weather the Lounge Bar of the Cuillin Hills will offer you the warm camaraderie of Skye, solace with a book, or the view from Portree.

Again our bar menu changes on a regular basis, lighter snacks and sandwiches are always available.
